Import services:
As you know, FOB is the best way the foreign importers usually choose. Why do Vietnamese importers often use CIF or C&F?
Because they do not have any forwarding agency, if they have, they can gain some benefits below:

1-Reduce the cost of product and taxes: Exporters usually use their forwarding agency to ship by a contract over year so that to avoid the fluctuation of the freight forwarding usually use the high rates. So the importers can check with their forwarding agencies to find out the best rates for exwork charges (included pick up, customs clearance at departure port or airport, handling fees) and freight at the point of time of importing. This makes the total CIF reduced and taxes reduced accordingly.

2-Available information: Importers can have any information at any time by checking with their forwarding agency such as time of pick up, time of customs clearance at departure port or airport, require C/O or not, transit time, connect vessel or connect flight, time of arrival, customs clearance at destination, delivery goods.


3-Easy checking documents: Importers can check all documents in advance via their forwarding agency before arrival to avoid mistake and adjustment fees and storage fees.
