CABR Technology Co., Ltd. Is a share-holding high-tech company in the field of building industry founded on the basis of Institute of Building Structures of China Academy of Building Research. The company is mainly involved in the business of building software development and R&D of new building technologies and products. The Company owns the domestic advanced technologies and products in the fields such as building design and construction CAD software, high-rise building structure, prestressing, large span space structure, steel structure, rebar mechanical splicing, structure testing, structure diagnosis and evaluation, etc. The company continues to be responsible for editing the national standards and codes in the relevant fields. The company also owns the complete set of equipment and facilities for structural experiment and testing. The company now has a total staff of 597, among which there are 61 professors, 65 senior engineers. Over 90% staffs owned bachelor's degrees including 19 doctors and 113 masters.

This is a professional company engaged with the development, operation, technical service, technical consulting, and project subcontracting of mechanical splicing for bars. As the pioneer company of this industry in China, CABR has engaged with the mechanical splicing for bars about 10 years. The main products such as parallel thread rebar splice with cold upsetting end, parallel thread rebar splice with rolled thread end, cold forged sleeve splice for ribbed rebar have won many national patents of China. These products have been widely applied in the projects such as buildings, bridges, hydraulic structures, television towers, nuclear power plants, etc., and have received high evaluations from the clients.
CABR produces and sells the couplers and the equipments of making cold upset end and parallel thread, the equipment of rolling parallel thread as well as the forging sleeves machine. CABR also undertakes subcontracting of rebar splicing. Millions of couplers are sold annually, and the annual production capacity of equipment is about 200 sets.
CABR now has agencies and branch offices throughout China and it could conduct its business in all provinces, municipal cities and autonomous regions of China. Techniques of mechanical splicing for rebars developed by the branch have been extended and applied in more than ten countries and regions, e. G. Russia, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia etc.
