The structure of this machine tool is similar to normal cylindrical grinding machine but also has a big difference. The work-piece is clamped by headstock and tailstock, which are fixed on an angle micro-adjustable worktable which does not move, its longitudinal feeding (Z) achieved by the movement of cross slip plate on guide rail of base. X-direction guide rail is fixed on cross slip plate, transversal feeding (X) achieved by the movement of cross slide in the direction of X guide rail. Grinding carriage and turning tool holder fixed on cross slide, Hawking tool head and turning tool are fixed on tool holder. The machine can grind conical surface by adjusting angle degree of worktable. It can achieve precise cutting and HawkingPT super finishing for conical, arc, and curved surface by interpolation of feeding in X & Z direction. 2. The lathe bed adopts integral structure of manu-marble with good vibration absorption, rigidness and small thermal deformation. 3. Longitudinal direction (Z) guide rail adopts flat V-shape hydrostatic guideway and manual scrapping. Transversal (X) direction adopts high precision and imported double V-shape roller guide rail with good precision and guidance quality. X and Z guide rails adopt servo motor and driven by imported Japan THK ball screw with high location precision. 4. Grinding carriage adopts the grinding head structure of normal grinder. Grinding wheel spindle adopts angular contact ball bearing. Headstock adopts an imported and precise spindle. Both grinding carriage and headstock are driven by frequency conversion motor to get step-less speed-regulating. 5. Adopting FANUC 0i-TD CNC system.
