Material Variations
Stainless steel welded wire mesh is made from two main stainless steel grades: 304 and 316, both offering good corrosion resistance. Grade 304 is versatile, suitable for a wide range of environments, while 316 contains molybdenum, enhancing its resistance to corrosive elements like salt water and chemicals. The low carbon variants, 304L and 316L, improve weldability and minimize corrosion risk post-welding, with 316L also offering slightly better corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
